Our Missionary Vision

Our Missionary Vision

MFC Missions

At MFC, we dream of seeing disciples multiplied in every nation—starting with the nations God has already brought into our church family.

Our Conviction

Jesus gave us a clear command: “Go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19). Today, more than 22 cultures are already represented at MFC, and we believe this is just the beginning. The Great Commission is for all nations.

We follow the New Testament pattern: “Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8). For us, that means starting right here at home—reaching the nations represented in MFC.

Local Missions

Before going abroad, we begin in our own community. Our English campus is a clear example: though we began as a Hispanic church, we embraced the mission to reach every group in our city. We’ve intentionally invested time and resources into local missions and dream of planting more campuses throughout our region.

International Missions

We believe loving our homeland is sacred—it was God who chose where we were born. While we love the United States, the country we now call home, we also want to pour out love on the lands we came from.

That’s why we support missionary projects across the cultures represented at MFC and beyond, wherever God opens doors.

Our goal is not to create “daughter churches” but to come alongside healthy local churches with the vision to multiply disciples. If the Holy Spirit calls us to plant a church where none exist, we’ll do it with obedience and love.

Our Action Plan

Here’s how we live out this mission:

  • Identify Ambassadors — MFC representatives who help lead missions work in their nation.

  • Create a unique plan for each nation, built on these principles:

    • Every project must connect with a healthy local church and strong leadership.

    • Every project must be self-sustaining—not fully dependent on MFC.

    • We maintain open communication and accountability between the local church, the ambassador, and MFC leadership.

  • Step out in faith—together.

FAQs

1. What is an MFC Ambassador?
Ambassadors are representatives who help lead MFC’s missions efforts in their country.

2. How are missions organized at MFC?
Through the Missions Administrative Board, which helps guide and support every project.

3. What does it mean to “develop a unique plan for each nation”?
It doesn’t mean complicated structures. Each nation’s projects should be coordinated, accountable, and shaped by its own needs and dynamics—not copied from somewhere else. Sometimes a project comes first, then later a national plan follows.

4. What do we mean by “a healthy local church with strong leadership”?

  • At least two years established.

  • Sound doctrine (not tied to extreme or questionable movements).

  • Led by a pastor and elders with good testimony and integrity.

  • Outward-focused, with a vision for multiplying disciples.

  • Ideally independent churches, though exceptions may be made.

5. What does it mean that “each project must be self-sustaining”?
Projects are birthed and led by the local church—not MFC. They have their own name, identity, leaders, and volunteers. MFC partners and supports, but we don’t seek recognition. The goal isn’t for MFC to shine abroad, but for Christ to shine through the local church.
