Sundays in the Morning
Our Kids Ministry
When you arrive with your children for our Sunday celebration, you’ll be welcomed in the lobby, where you can check them in so they’re ready for class.
The entire family begins worshiping together in the main sanctuary—something we value deeply. We intentionally encourage children and youth to worship alongside their parents and the rest of the congregation. This helps them experience and grow in corporate worship from a young age, building a lifelong spirit of unity and communion.
Learning with Purpose
After worship, before the message, parents take their children to their classes, where they receive age-appropriate biblical lessons in a safe, joyful, and loving environment.
Safety During Pick-Up
At the end of the service, parents pick up their children in the same location where they were dropped off. It’s important to present the identification label received at check-in to ensure the safety of all children.
We Care for What You Love Most
Every teacher and assistant in our ministry has completed a background check. At Multicultural Family Church, we take children’s safety and well-being very seriously—it’s our highest priority.
What Will They Be Learning?
This Fall 2025, here’s what your children will be learning, according to their age:
MFC Nursery
Safe. Welcoming. Full of love..
Our Nursery is specially designed for families with babies under 18 months. This cozy space allows parents to care for their little ones without missing the main service.
The room includes a rocking chair for nursing mothers, a changing table, and a variety of age-appropriate toys to keep babies comfortable and entertained. Parents are warmly invited to bring their babies and enjoy a calm, peaceful environment. The service is broadcast live within the nursery so parents can stay connected while caring for their children.
Toddlers (18 months – 2 years)
Discovering the Voice of God
Our toddlers begin a joyful Bible Adventure where the little ones start to uncover big truths about God in a simple and fun way. This fall’s unit focuses on Samuel, teaching that God is always ready to speak to us.
Each lesson includes songs, games, and visual resources that introduce children to God’s Word and His love. The curriculum is connected with the Bible App for Kids by YouVersion and OneHope, allowing families to keep learning at home. Through each story and activity, kids begin to understand that God loves them and wants to be their friend forever.
Preschoolers (3 – 5 years)
Adventuring Through God's Word
Each week, our preschoolers experience an exciting Bible Adventure designed to spark curiosity and build a strong foundation of faith. This fall’s theme is also based on the story of Samuel, helping kids discover that God is always listening and ready to speak.
Every lesson encourages them to explore great questions, discover biblical truths, and apply them to their daily lives. Through music, storytelling, and creative activities, they experience the Bible in a meaningful way—both at church and at home—learning that Jesus loves them deeply.
Kindergarten – 1st Grade
God’s Power is Amazing!
Our youngest elementary group continues their four-year Bible journey, discovering just how incredible our God is.
This fall, they’ll dive into Bible stories where God shows His great power—so much that we can only say “BOOOOM!” From creation to miracles, they’ll learn that God’s power isn’t just something from the past—it’s a living reality today.
2nd – 3rd Grade
Experiencing the Great Power of God
Children in this group go deeper as they continue through the Through the Bible curriculum.
This fall’s lessons show that God is mighty and strong—able to part seas, calm storms, and change hearts. Through hands-on activities, Bible exploration, and unforgettable stories, the kids will experience the BOOOOM of God’s power and learn to trust Him in every situation.
4th – 5th Grade
Living in the Power of God
Our older elementary group learns that God’s power isn’t just something we read about—it’s something we live!
As they continue through the Bible, students will discover how God’s strength has been revealed throughout history and how His Spirit empowers us today. This fall, they’ll explore awe-inspiring stories and miracles that reveal one unchanging truth: God’s power is real, unstoppable, and available to everyone who believes.
