About Multicultural Family Church
Multicultural Family Church is a non-denominational, Bible-teaching church located in Brandon, Florida, a suburb of Tampa. We exist to raise up genuine followers of Jesus who are committed to multiplying disciples. We strive to be a church where ethnic and generational diversity, solid biblical teaching, and strong community and discipleship are visible and measurable.
Our church is multicultural, multigenerational, and committed to reaching people from different backgrounds while keeping Jesus and His Word at the center of everything we do.
Role Summary
The Bilingual Youth Pastor will provide spiritual leadership, pastoral care, vision, and direction for the Middle School, High School, and College/Young Adult ministries of Multicultural Family Church.
We are looking for much more than someone with youth ministry skills or a charismatic personality. We are looking for a man of character.
The ideal candidate will be a loyal, trustworthy, humble, hard-working, and dependable man who demonstrates strong work ethic and personal integrity. He must be someone who can be trusted not only with students and ministry responsibilities, but also with people, resources, information, and the overall mission of the church.
Character is more important to us than skill set, experience, platform, or giftedness. We believe skills can be developed, but integrity, loyalty, humility, teachability, and a strong work ethic must be present in the person we hire.
The Youth Pastor will be expected to lead by example, not simply lead programs. He will invest deeply in students, build genuine relationships with families, disciple and develop volunteers, teach God's Word faithfully, and help create a youth ministry where students are known, loved, challenged, and equipped to follow Jesus.
Because Multicultural Family Church is bilingual and multicultural, the ability to minister effectively in both English and Spanish is an important part of this role.
Key Responsibilities
1. Spiritual Leadership & Character
- Live as a visible example of a committed follower of Jesus Christ, demonstrating integrity, humility, faithfulness, and spiritual maturity.
- Maintain a healthy personal walk with Christ characterized by prayer, Scripture, worship, repentance, and obedience.
- Demonstrate unwavering loyalty to the mission, vision, leadership, and values of Multicultural Family Church.
- Be dependable, punctual, responsible, and consistent in fulfilling ministry and administrative responsibilities.
- Approach ministry with a strong work ethic, taking initiative rather than waiting to be told what needs to be done.
- Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate wisdom and discretion in dealing with students, parents, volunteers, and staff.
- Be teachable, accountable, and willing to receive correction and coaching.
- Represent the church with maturity and professionalism both inside and outside the church.
2. Youth Ministry Leadership
- Provide overall leadership and vision for the Middle School, High School, and College/Young Adult ministries.
- Develop a clear discipleship strategy that helps students move from believing in Jesus to becoming authentic disciples who make disciples.
- Lead and teach weekly youth gatherings with biblical depth, relevance, creativity, and passion.
- Develop environments where students can worship, learn God's Word, build relationships, ask questions, and grow spiritually.
- Create intentional opportunities for students to serve and participate in the life of the church.
- Plan and lead youth events, retreats, camps, mission opportunities, outreach events, and other ministry experiences.
- Ensure youth ministry activities are organized, purposeful, safe, and aligned with the church's overall mission and values.
3. Discipleship & Relational Ministry

- Help students develop habits of prayer, Bible reading, worship, serving, evangelism, and biblical community.
- Develop a healthy small-group culture where students are known personally and challenged spiritually.

4. Volunteer & Leadership Development
- Recruit, train, equip, disciple, and pastor youth ministry volunteers.
- Build a strong team culture centered on prayer, unity, excellence, and discipleship.
- Establish clear expectations and responsibilities for youth leaders and volunteers.

- Identify and develop emerging leaders from within the youth ministry.
- Create a multiplication culture in which leaders are continually developing other leaders.
5. Family Partnership
